Remembrance Sunday 2024

Each year we offer the church building and our worship to the wider community for the annual Service of Remembrance.

In partnership with the British Embassy in Stockholm we invite representatives of many nations - old friends and old foes - together with veterans from many backgrounds, for the solemn recollection of the cost of war and to commit ourselves to peace.

The Service starts at 10.50 and includes the Two Minutes' Silence and the playing of the Last Post.

The Service is open to everyone and there is no need to book in advance, and there are refreshments in the Hall afterwards for those not invited to the Ambassador's residence.

Children are very welcome and there will be the option of activities for them in the Hall during the Service.

At 09.30 there will be a said service of Holy Communion, using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
