Love bids us welcome
Seventh Sunday of Easter
17 May
09.30-09.50 Morning Prayer
Starting the day Godwards.
A simple said service in the chancel of the church, using the psalms and silence and candles.
Quiet enough to hear the blackbird sing.
11.00-12.15 The Eucharist
Love bids us welcome.
Gathering from east and west and north and south as the Easter story spills out into the life of the early church - and into our lives on the Sunday after Ascension Day.
With hymns and prayers and silence and bread and wine and each other’s good company.
And our good friend Ulf Lindgren wondering aloud with us.
In the church - and on Zoom.
With Godly Play for our children. And the Youth group in their den.
And fika afterwards in the Hall.
18.00-18.45 Communion
Home from home at Storkyrkan in Gamla Stan
A quiet and contemplative service in the round, in English, led by Nick the Chaplain, wiith a Cathedral musician.
21.30-21.45 Compline
Ending as we mean to go on
Time to reflect on and hand over the day, in the company of others, and with the chance to say Goodnight.
On Zoom, here.
