Love bids us welcome
This Sunday
30 March
Mothering Sunday
Starting the day Godwards.
A simple said service in the chancel of the church, with psalms and plenty of silence.
Quiet enough to hear the birds sing.
09.30-09.50 Morning Prayer
11.00-12.15 The Eucharist
Love bids us welcome
It can be hard to be a mother; it can be hard not to be a mother. It can be hard to have a mother; it can be hard not to have a mother.
We make room for all of that, and the joys, too, as we gather from east and west and north and south, to sing and pray, to wonder and keep silence and to share bread and wine as we bring our experience of mothering into our worship.
In church, and on Zoom.
With Godly Play storytelling for children.
And fika afterwards for everyone.
Ending as we mean to go on
Handing over the day, finished and unfinished, and saying Goodnight, on Zoom, here.
18.00-18.45 Holy Communion
Home from home
A quiet, comtemplative, in-the-round service at Storkyrkan - the Cathedral in Gamla Stan - led by Nick our Chaplain, in English, with a Cathedral musician.
