Love bids us welcome
Third Sunday of Easter
19 April
09.30-09.50 Morning Prayer
Starting the day Godwards.
A simple said service in the chancel of the church, using the psalms and silence and candles.
Quiet enough to hear the blackbird sing.
11.00-12.15 The Festival Eucharist
Love bids us welcome.
Gathering from east and west and north and south as the Easter story introduces us to the stranger on the road to Emmaus.
With hymns and Easter decorations and bread and wine and each other’s good company.
And Pamela Henderson wondering aloud with us.
The church organ is being renovated so we’ll be worshipping in a new arrangement - but still in the church - and on Zoom.
With Singing with Miranda for our children. And the Youth Group in their den.
And fika in the Hall afterwards for everyone.
18.00-18.45 Holy Communion
Home from home in Storkyrkan in Gamla Stan
A quiet and contemoplative service in the round in the heart of the city, led in English by Nick the Chaplain, with a Cathedral musician.
21.30-21.45 Compline
Ending as we mean to go on
Time to reflect on and hand over the day, in the company of others, and with the chance to say Goodnight.
On Zoom, here.
