Greening

We take climate change very seriously. We are not optimists, but we try to be faithful and to do what we can as a matter of love and justice.

We share the goal of the Diocese in Europe for carbon neutrality.

We have quantified our greenhouse gas emissions and fasted from plastic and stopped flying people to deanery synods - and changed our lightbulbs, of course.

By far the greatest reduction in our climate impact has come from moving our bank accounts to a bank with environmentally-aware lending policies.

And keeping bees helps keep us aware of environmental issues on our own doorstep.
